Day 1: Arrival

Our guide will meet & welcome you at Kigali International Airport and transfer your hotel for overnight at Hotel Chez Lando. B.L.D.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour- Volcanoes 
After breakfast, our guide will brief you and embark on an orientation city tour of Kigali. Our tour will start with a visit to Kimisagara market and later to the genocide memorial museum.  Here you will learn tons about Rwanda genocide take pictures and have a lunch break. After lunch, we’ll precede to the Volcanoes with the stop to the local market. Later transfer to the Volcanoes for Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View lodge-B.L.D.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes National Park

Early morning transfer to the volcanoes national park.  Meet the rangers for orientation join groups and commence the gorilla trek that may vary in length depending on the gorilla family you have trekked.  The trek may go between 2-6 hours sometimes and very strenuous. Return for a hot lunch at your lodge. In the evening, you will visit Ibyiwacu Cultural Village that gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of our culture and traditions. The community you visit will genuinely welcome you as a special guest while they proudly present to you aspects of their traditions and beliefs. This will truly be an experience of a lifetime. Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View lodge-B.L.D.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking
Trekking the golden monkey in Volcanoes National park is another highlight of your safari in Rwanda. Spend time watching these playful and inquisitive creatures leaping from one-bamboo branches to another descending to the base of Volcanoes. Return to the lodge in the afternoon and spend the rest of the evening relaxing for the big drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda the following day. Day 5: Rwanda to Lake Bunyonyi-Uganda
After breakfast, we will check out of the lodge and crossover into Uganda to Lake Bunyonyi- “meaning the place of many birds”. This place is haven of birds. You will find many activities to keep you more than occupied such as bird watching, fishing, canoe ride to Batwa community, biking and many more. Dinner & Overnight at Bird Nest resort-B.L.D

Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi-Queen Elizabeth National Park
At 0800 hrs depart lake Bunyonyi and proceed through Kabale enjoy beautiful terrace views of Kabale towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains. In the evening, proceed for a game-drive, before retiring at your lodge for Dinner & Overnight at Ishasha Lodge. B.L.D.

Day 7: Game & Boat Cruise and Kazinga Channel
Today we explore Queen Elizabeth national park with tree-climbing lion search. We enjoy the game with possible sightings of buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, lion, leopard, hyena, giant forest hog as well as elephants, crocodiles, hippos as well as several bird species. In the afternoon, we go on boat-cruise that offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. Dinner & Overnight at Ishasha Lodge. B.L.D.

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking –Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and prepare yourself for another very fascinating primate experience at Kyambura Gorge. Attend briefing by the ranger-guide and rally behind him for a morning chimpanzee tracking activity. Return in the afternoon board your vehicle and proceed to Lake Mburo. Lunch is en-route at Mbarara town. Arrive late in the evening and check in at your hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Mburo lodge-B.L.D

Day 9: Lake Mburo National park-Walking Safari
Lake Mburo is the only Ugandan national parks where safaris are done on foot. It harbors several species of mammals such as Zebras, Impala, Buffalos and over 313 species of birds comprising of the bill storks that are not found anywhere else in Uganda. Wake up to an early walking safari that makes you feel part of nature and often get the chance to see the more timid animals. It is an amazing experience not to be missed. Return for lunch, relax and be ready for an evening game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Mburo lodge-B.L.D.
Day 10: Lake Mburo-Kampala-Departure
Early breakfast, and drive back to Kampala. Stop at the Equator and marvel at the amazing illustrations by a local guide.  Arrive late in Kampala in the afternoon, visit the African craft shops for souvenirs and drop off at the airport late in the evening for your flight back to your home country.
