Day -1 Arrival- Airport pickup
Meet and assist upon arrival and transfer to Entebbe, check-in at Laico Hotel – Entebbe for your Superb Comfort. Dinner and Overnight at Kampala Serena Hotel B.B
Day-2: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth national park
Meet and greet at 0630hours before driving west, with a stopover at the Equator for photos and lunch en-route. Pass through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains. Arrivals in the afternoon, check in your hotel and have lunch. In the evening, enjoy a Uganda wildlife safaris experience whilst carrying out a game drive around the park before retiring at the lodge. Day-3: Game and Boat Lunch – Queen Elizabeth National Park
A misty morning in the shadow of the great Mountains of the Moon – commence the day with a morning game drive return at the lodge for a lunch Break at Mweya Safari Lodge. At 1500hrs take a boat-ride on Kazinga channel; a 33km long stretch that links L. George to L. Edward. The channel has arguably the highest concentration of Hippos in the world. Humongous Nile Crocodiles are common sight as well as numerous bird species on the channel banks. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge B.L.D
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth- Bwindi National park
Have breakfast at 06:30hrs, and our driver will drive to Bwindi impenetrable Forest. On the way you will stop at the Ishasha sector of Bwindi in search of the Tree-Climbing Lions. You will continue to Bwindi with packed lunch, arrive in the evenings, check in at Chameleon Hill Lodge, and relax for the biggest gorilla adventure the following day. Retire at Chameleon Hill Lodge for Dinner and Overnight. B.L.D
Day – 5 Gorilla Trekking
Wake up at the sound of the rooster, have breakfast and with packed lunch, our guide will drive you to Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point. Attend a briefing session by the ranger-guide and later penetrate the mountain gorilla sanctuary. The duration of gorilla tracking in Uganda shall be determined by where the great apes spent the previous night and maximum time allowed with them is strictly one hour. Sight of the Gorillas is a unique an amazing experience indelible in memory. Return at your lodge for: Dinner and overnight at Chameleon Hill Lodge B.L.D
Day-6 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest-Lake Mburo National Park
Last moments in the Land of the Mountain Gorillas and drive back to Lake Mburo National park. Arrive in the afternoon; check-in your lodge, and later enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo followed by a short sunset game-drive. Dinner and Overnight at Mihingo Lodge- B.L.D
Day-7: Lake Mburo – Entebbe
Today, accompanied by an armed Ranger, take a morning safari walk, breakfast, and an en-route game-drive as you exit the Park. Arrive in Kampala in time for lunch and depending on your flight schedule, you will join our guide for a shopping spree in one of Kampala’s famous craft villages. Later you will be transferred to Entebbe International airport in time for your flight back home.

Our 6 Day Uganda Primate Safari Tour offers you a classic adventure that encompasses some of the greatest Uganda primate destinations, including Kibale National park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Day 01: Arrival- Hotel
welcome! Your primate safari adventure begins here. 1000 Shades of Green representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Retire at 2friends Hotel Entebbe. B.B
Day 02: Entebbe- Bwindi
Begin your primate adventure at 0630hrs and maneuver through Kampala streets; proceed to the Equator and marvel at the amazing illustrations by a local guide. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest arriving in the evening. Dinner & Overnight at Buhoma community Banda. B.L.D
Day 03: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast and attend briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. This area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time is taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Day 04: Bwindi- Kibale
After breakfast, we depart the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and head to Kibale National Park. After checking in you will go on an evening nature walk at Bigodi swamp. Dinner and Overnight at Papaya Lake Lodge. B.L.D
Day 5 :Chimpanzee tracking
Today the forest opens its doors for a sensational chimp tracking. Kibale Forest is reputable for having the greatest variety and the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white Colobus monkey, and many others. Dinner and Overnight at Papaya Lake Lodge. Day 06: Departure
After breakfast, we transfer to back to Kampala. Drop off at your place of residence or at Entebbe International airport. B.L

Day 1: Arrival –Transfer to your hotel
Our guide will meet you at Entebbe international airport and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Quick briefing about your safari to Kibale forest national park the next day and then retire for Dinner and Overnight at Laico Lake Victoria Entebbe. B.B
Day 2: Kampala- Kibale Forest (5hrs)
Begin with a scenic ride through trading centres, villages, swamps and forests to Kibale Forest National park.Arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch. After lunch, embark on a nature walk at Bigodi swamp with chances to see the African shoebill. Return in the evening and retire at your lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Kyaninga Lodge. B.L.D
Day 3: Kibale- Queen Elizabeth national park (3-4hrs)
Earl morning breakfast, join the rangers at the briefing point and enter the forest for your chimpanzee tracking adventure. After lunch, we’ll drive to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving in the evening in time for an evening game drive. We will check in your lodge and go for a game in the park with a chance to catch glimpse of the some of the amazing wildlife species. Dinner and Overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge. B.L.D
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth national park
Early morning game-drive to explore the diversity of Uganda’s second largest National Park as the sun rises and return to the lodge for a lunch break. In the afternoon, we will go for boat-ride on the famous Kazinga channel. Return in the evening at your lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge. B.L.D
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth –Bwindi (7hrs)
This morning with packed lunch we will transfer to Bwindi Forest via the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth national park with a chance to see the tree-climbing lions. You will arrive in the evening, check-in and relax at the lodge for an adventurous gorilla trekking activity in the morning. Dinner and Overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D
Day 6: Gorilla trekking
Attend briefing by the Ranger guide at 7:30 AM and your lodge will give you packed lunch, water, and a walking stick! Follow the Ranger guide into the forest sanctuary for your gorilla trekking experience. When you meet the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them, take pictures and return to the lodge. In the evening, you will go for Pygmies aka Batwa cultural tour. Dinner and Overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D
Day 7: Bwindi- Lake Bunyonyi(3hrs)
Today, enjoy last moments in the Land of the Mountain Gorillas before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi Resort. On arrival, you will check into your lodge, relax and you will take a canoe scenicride to Lake Bunyonyi to have a spectacular sightseeing experience that Lake Bunyonyi offers.A canoe ride to the, punishment island, Pigmies Island where you will be able to see their traditional way of life and cultures among other islands. Birders will treat themselves with well over 300 bird species recorded. Dinner and Overnight at Bird Nest resort. B.L.D
Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi- Kampala. (6hrs)
After an early morning breakfast, you will have an en-route scenic drive transferring back to Kampala via Mbarara that allows you a lunch break in Masaka town.Stop at the equator for last picture taking, chat with the local drum makers, learn how drums are made and take one home if interested. Arrive in Kampala late evening and depending on your flight schedule, our guide will take you on a shopping spree in one of Kampala’s African craft shops. Later you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight back.
