<h2><strong>Day 1: Arrival and transfer to – Volcanoes National Park</strong></h2>
<p>Today you will meet our highly skilled safari guide from 1000 Shades of Green who will welcome you and lead this 3-day Safari. In case you arrive early, we shall have a Kigali City Tour, else he will drive you Volcanoes National Park found in the northern part of the country. This park is home to over 300 of the 800 mountain gorillas remaining in the entire world. You will dine and spend the night&nbsp;<strong>at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge-B.L.D</strong></p>

<h2><strong>Day 2: Mountain Trekking Gorillas &#8211; Volcanoes Park</strong></h2>
<p>After breakfast, we shall transfer to the park headquarters early in the morning where we shall be briefed and assigned park ranger and guides who will lead us on the search for mountain gorillas in the park.&nbsp; From here, led by armed park rangers and highly knowledgeable guides, we shall start trekking through the forest searching for the gorillas. Normally this may take 1-6 hours before we eventually meet these large animals. We shall be allowed an hour in their presence, observing them and taking photographs as they feed, play and cater to one another. Afterward, we shall return to our lodge and rest before setting out for another cultural adventure at (CULTURAL VILLAGE IBYIWACU) before retiring at the lodge for&nbsp;<strong>Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge-B.L.D &#8211;</strong></p>

<h2><strong>Day 3: Departure</strong></h2>
<p>This is the final day of our 3-day safari in Rwanda; we shall enjoy a nice breakfast at our lodge, and begin the journey back to the capital Kigali. Along the way, we shall make a number of stopovers to admire the beautiful rolling terrain of Rwanda – the Land of a Thousand Hills and do some souvenir shopping. on arrival in Kigali, we shall have a city tour in the capital and visit the genocide memorial sites before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.</p>

<p>Our representative will pick you up from your from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kigali for Overnight at Hotel Chez Lando. BB</p>
<h2><strong>Day 2: Kigali &#8211; Nyungwe Forest</strong></h2>
<p>After breakfast, you will visit the National Museum of Butare and the genocide memorial of Murambi. Nyanza was the headquarters of the ancient Rwanda Kingdom before the arrival of the Europeans. The compound has the modern palace constructed by King Mutara in 1934. It is tastefully decorated with traditional mats and utensils. The Butare Museum is reputed to be the best ethnographical Museum in East Africa. It is the home of the national ballet-Intore dancers. Have lunch at Butare and proceed to Murambi genocide memorial. <h2><strong>Day 3: Hiking &amp; Nature Walks</strong></h2>
<p>After breakfast enters Nyungwe forest to track the Colobus monkey. A walk in the forest is a whole learning experience conducted by knowledgeable guides well versed in botany, ornithology and interspecies relationship in this forest. Thereafter, return to your lodge for lunch. Overnight at <strong>Nyungwe Forest Lodge. B.L.D</strong></p>

<h2><strong>Day 4: Nyungwe &#8211; Kibuye</strong></h2>
<p>After breakfast, enter Nyungwe forest (07:00) to track people&#8217;s closest relatives, the chimpanzees. Thereafter return to the lodge for lunch followed by a drive to Kibuye. Overnight at Comoran Lodge. B.L.D</p>

<h2><strong>Day 5: Kibuye-Kinigi</strong></h2>
<p>After breakfast, drive to Gisenyi and finally to Kinigi. The drive Kibuye-Gisenyi is via the most beautiful providing spectacular views of the tea-growing country of Gisovu and Kayove. Brief stops are provided for photography. A four hours drive takes to Gisenyi for lunch and a brief city tour. Thereafter drive for two hours to Ruhengeri and finally Kinigi the base of gorilla tracking. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. B.L.D</p>

<h2><strong>Day 6: Gorillas Trekking</strong></h2>
<p>Early morning breakfast followed by a scenic drive to the park headquarters for group, guide allocation and briefing. This is followed by a drive to the trailheads where hiking and trekking up the hills to the bamboo zone begins. Hiking, trekking and tracking gorillas may take 2-4 hours. You will spend a maximum of one hour with the gorillas taking photographs and observing them. Later return to your lodge and relax before visiting the twin lakes during a nature walk. <h2><strong>Day 4: Hike to Dian Fossey Grave, Departure</strong></h2>
<p>Today morning, you will go set out in the company of a guide and hike to Dian Fossey’s grave. Dian was an American primatologist that dedicated her life to researching the gorillas of Rwanda, and also played a big role in ensuring that this endangered species is conserved. Unfortunately, it’s said that she was murdered by poachers and later buried next to her favorite gorilla Digit in this park. Later on, you will return to Kigali and depending on your flight time, you may have a short tour in the city before transferring to the airport.</p>

<p>Today morning our guide will transfer you to Nyungwe National Park home of the chimpanzees in Rwanda. <p><strong>Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking</strong></p>
<p>In the morning you will have an early breakfast and then transfer to the headquarters of the park where you will be briefed by the park warden about the guidelines to follow while tracking chimpanzees. <p>You will wake up very early today and by 7:30am converge at the headquarters of the park where you while be briefed about the hiking adventure and then begin the hike led by a park ranger. In addition, you will be availed with 2 porters who will assist carry your backpack (in case you have any) as well as support you as you traverse the slippery forest paths.  This thrilling hike takes <strong>2-4 hours </strong>to reach the peak and then 2 hours descending. On finding the mountain gorillas, you will spend at most an hour observing at taking photos of them. Afterward, return to your lodge and relax. Afterward, you will drive back to the capital Kigali with visits to several sites along the way such as the Murambi Genocide Memorial Site, Nyanza King’s Palace and Butare Museums. The lake is a 2650 Square kilometer freshwater expanse and the largest of all the lakes that fill the valleys of Rwanda. Spend the afternoon by the Lake shores. <p>Depart and drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best-known game reserve, arriving for lunch at your Camp.  Sarova Mara Game Camp has 75 tents and is located in the world-renowned Masai Mara; home to the greatest game show on earth – the Wildebeest Migration<br />

<p><strong>Day 3: Masai Mara Reserve </strong><br />
Optional &#8211; Hot Air Balloon ride and mid-day visit to the Local Village<br />
The BALLOON SAFARI adventure begins in the pre-dawn hours. The magnificent view of the park is thrilling. Towards the end of the safari, you rise to a height of 1500 feet for a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the savanna below. After an hour or so in the air, your safari finishes with a flourish: a champagne breakfast in the bush, cooked on the balloon’s burners. Full days in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives provided – option of leaving with picnic lunches for a full day game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Mara Camp. <p><strong>Day 4: Mara – Elementaita</strong><br />
After breakfast and clearance of bills if any, check out, depart have an en-route game drive back to main gate and drive to Nakuru National Park, check in and lunch. Nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park. A short two-hour drive from Nairobi, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is a favorite with residents and visitors to Kenya, is cleverly laid out in such a way that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the lake and the park. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. <p><strong>Day 5: Lake Nakuru</strong><br />
Full day in Nakuru with morning and afternoon game drives provided.  Lake Nakuru is renowned for large concentrations of flamingos and is also a sanctuary for the endangered black and white rhinos. This reserve has one of the highest densities of wildlife to be found on the continent and our chance of spotting lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo is excellent during an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. <p><strong>Day 6: Nakuru &#8211; Uganda </strong><br />
Breakfast at your Lodge depart and drive to Nakuru Town to wait for Nairobi – Kampala bus (Cost to be provided closer to travel date). The bus departs at around 9:00 PM at night and you will arrive in Uganda early morning the following day. Optional: A flight from Nairobi to Uganda can be arranged upon request.</p>
<p><strong>Day 7: Arrival –Transfer to your hotel</strong><br />

<strong>Day 9: Kampala-Bwindi (9Hrs)</strong><br />
An early morning start from Kampala takes you southwest and across the Equator. You drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredibly long curving horns. You then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the &#8220;Switzerland of Africa&#8221;, with terraced farming and mountain scenery. Drive to Bwindi arriving late in the evening. <p>after an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide; enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure.  The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular.  The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. <p><strong>Day 11: Bwindi- Kampala (9Hrs)</strong><br />

<p>With parked lunch, you will drive to the briefing point. Listen to the ranger as he briefs you about the dos and don’ts while with the mountain gorillas. Penetrate through the impenetrable Bwindi with the rangers and when you meet the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. <strong>In the evening, </strong>you will enjoy the <strong>Batwa Trail</strong>, a firsthand introduction to one of the most unique cultures worldwide.
