Day 2: Kigali – Nyungwe
Begin your safari from Kigali heading to Nyungwe National Park via Butare Museum. After Butare, head to Gikongoro and visit Murambi genocide memorial centre and break for lunch.Later proceed to Nyungwe forest. Dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.B.L.D

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking
Chimpanzee trekking in the morning and later return to the lodge for a hot lunch. After lunch, visit of Gisakura Tea Factory. Dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.B.L.D

Day 4:Canopy Walk 

Today you can 
opt for a walk on the second African highest Canopy or for a nature walk visiting water fall in the morning. After lunch, track the Colobus monkeys and later return at the lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.B.L.D

Day 5: Nyungwe – Kibuye
After breakfast, hit the road to Kibuye in the beautiful lake resort of Lake Kivu. Lake Kivu is one of the greatest Lakes in Rwanda, and is in the Albertine (western) Rift valley, a part of the Great Rift Valleys. The lake is a 2650 Square kilometer freshwater expanse and the largest of all the lakes that fill the valleys of Rwanda. Spend the afternoon by the Lakeshores. Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena hotel.B.L.D

Day 6: Kibuye Musanze- Volcanoes 
After breakfast, drive to Musanze (ex- Ruhengeri) the base town for mountain gorillas. In the evening you will go for a cultural adventure at Ibyiwacu Cultural Village. Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of Rwandan culture and traditions. Day 7: Golden Monkeys trekking
After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, transfer and report to the park headquarters, for Golden monkeys trekking formalities and briefing. After Golden monkey trek have lunch at the lodge and relax. Dinner and Overnight at Sabinyo Silverback Lodge. B.L.D

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking – Kigali
Early morning transfer to Virunga National park headquarters for gorilla trekking adventure briefing. You will be allocated your specific group and hike to the forest following a ranger. When you meet the mountain gorillas, you will spend one hour with them and take pictures. Return to the lodge, have lunch and transfer to Kigali. Dinner and Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel.B.B

Day 9: City Tour and Departure
After breakfast, take Kigali city tour including visits to the genocide memorial site/museum. Thereafter proceed to the airport for your departure flight.

Day 1: Arrival

Our representative will pick you up from your from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kigali for Overnight at Hotel Chez Lando. BB

Day 2: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest

After breakfast, you will visit the National Museum of Butare and the genocide memorial of Murambi. Nyanza was the headquarters of the ancient Rwanda Kingdom before the arrival of the Europeans. The compound has the modern palace constructed by King Mutara in 1934. It is tastefully decorated with traditional mats and utensils. The Butare Museum is reputed to be the best ethnographical Museum in East Africa. It is the home of the national ballet-Intore dancers. Have lunch at Butare and proceed to Murambi genocide memorial. Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge. B.L.D

Day 3: Hiking & Nature Walks

After breakfast enters Nyungwe forest to track the Colobus monkey. A walk in the forest is a whole learning experience conducted by knowledgeable guides well versed in botany, ornithology and interspecies relationship in this forest. Thereafter, return to your lodge for lunch. Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge. B.L.D

Day 4: Nyungwe – Kibuye

After breakfast, enter Nyungwe forest (07:00) to track people’s closest relatives, the chimpanzees. Thereafter return to the lodge for lunch followed by a drive to Kibuye. Overnight at Comoran Lodge. B.L.D

Day 5: Kibuye-Kinigi

After breakfast, drive to Gisenyi and finally to Kinigi. The drive Kibuye-Gisenyi is via the most beautiful providing spectacular views of the tea-growing country of Gisovu and Kayove. Brief stops are provided for photography. A four hours drive takes to Gisenyi for lunch and a brief city tour. Thereafter drive for two hours to Ruhengeri and finally Kinigi the base of gorilla tracking. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. B.L.D

Day 6: Gorillas Trekking

Early morning breakfast followed by a scenic drive to the park headquarters for group, guide allocation and briefing. This is followed by a drive to the trailheads where hiking and trekking up the hills to the bamboo zone begins. Hiking, trekking and tracking gorillas may take 2-4 hours. Sight and stay with the Gorillas for one hour. Descend to your hotel for lunch. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. B.L.D

Day 7: 2nd Gorilla Trekking.

After breakfast, trek the mountains for another unforgettable experience with the gorillas. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon drive to Kigali. Overnight at Hotel Des Mille Collines.B.L.D

Day 8: Airport Transfer & Departure

Day 5: Nyungwe – Kibuye

Day 6: Kibuye – Gisenyi
Transfer to Gisenyi by speedboat where you explore the wonderful views of different islands on Lake Kivu. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel. B.L.D

Day 7: Gisenyi
Relaxing day on Kivu Serena beach. After Lunch, proceed to Ruhengeri with a visit to  Ibyiwacu Cultural Village. Ibyiwacu Cultural Village gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of our culture and traditions. Once you are with the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while you take pictures and videos. Day 9: Golden Monkey Trekking

Day 10:Musanze -Akagera
